Realtors® Celebrate 100 Years of Quality Service Through the Code of Ethics

2013 will mark the 100th year members of the National Association of Realtors® have subscribed to a strict Code of Ethics. Though the real estate industry itself has evolved over the past century, NAR’s core values and commitment to excellence have remained constant.

As members of an association that’s more than a century old, Realtors® bring a wealth of resources to consumers so that they can give their clients the best possible representation during the transaction process. NAR members have access to advanced educational opportunities and training in real estate specialties, and they also subscribe to the Realtor® Code of Ethics.

Take your CE Credits LIVE this Spring with LARA

This is the first year of the new biennium meaning you will need to pick up 18 hours of WI CE credit between now and 12/2014. This spring we are offering three days of live sessions and have posted the registration forms to our website. All WI courses are approved for 3 hours of MN credit each course. In addition, WI CE Course 1 is approved for the mandatory Fair Housing or Agency requirement. Course D is approved for the mandatory Agency Law requirement.

This is a great opportunity to get your WI and MN CE credits locally saving you time, gas and expenses! In addition, we are happy to bring back by popular demand Jonathan Sayas and Brad Boyd who will be your instructors for these sessions.

Condo and Multi-Family Electronic Profile Sheets Live

We have great NEWS for you! As requested, the Condo and Multi Profile Sheets are now converted to electronic formats and are now live! You can access all of our Electronic Profile sheets from the left hand menu on our homepage under the Multiple Listing Service Heading. Be sure to allow pop-ups as the profile sheets open in a new window.

Submitting a profile sheet electronically is a win, win for everyone. As staff, we do not have to guess and try to read every members writing. In addition, the electronic form will not let you go past a required field unless data is filled in. It saves time and enables us to get the listing in at a quicker pace because there is less chance of errors or omissions!

Please use the electronic forms. Single Family, Two Family, Condo, Multi and Vacant Land are all available now. If you have any troubles with the electronic forms notify our office.

Greater La Crosse MLS Corp and SEMAR (South East MN Association of REALTORS®) Sign Reciprocal Supra Key Agreement!

After a year of time working with SUPRA and SEMAR (South East Minnesota Association Of REALTORS®), we now have a Reciprocal Supra Key Agreement signed. You will still have to carry two keys, but you will only get billed once at your primary MLS.So this is how it will work. If you have a SEMAR Supra Key already, please return it to SEMAR. As they bill quarterly, please do this by March 31, 2012 as to save another quarter of fees.

Next, make an appointment with Ryan at 608-785-7838 to come in and sign the necessary paperwork and pick up the key. Plan on a 20 minute appointment. You will be required to sign a key agreement with SEMAR. You will then have access by the end of the day.

If a SEMAR key is lost, it will cost you $249 to replace it. I am asking your patience until we tweak this process.

Submit Your Open Houses Online

By submitting your Open House form via this website, you take the guess work out of checking to make sure that all of the required information has been entered. This ensures that your Open House will be processed in a timely manner. Online submission also allows you to receive an automatic confirmation email at up to two email addresses. Remember to call the Association Office to make sure we've received all of your Open Houses. To fill out your Open House Directory Form, click here.
