MLS Deadlines
NEW LISTINGS:
- All listings in by 9:15 a.m. will be guaranteed to be entered that day unless data isn't complete on profile sheet. If data is not complete, it will be faxed back or a call made. When the correct information is received, it goes to the end of the line and still may not get in that day.
- Staff is not allowed per NAR policy to add or change anything on Profile Sheets.
- Listings can be mailed, faxed or dropped off at the Association office.
- All Profile Sheets must be accompanied by the listing contract. Any change to the original listing/use a change form and it must be accompanied by an amendment. See Change form for more info.
- Please double check all Profile Sheets before they are submitted to the Association Office.
- All fields not shaded are mandatory. 0's not allowed except in rare cases & an explanation must be in remarks.
- When submitted to the Association Office staff checks price, address, list date and expiration date with contract.
- Late listings, submitted after 72 hours, will receive a late letter sent to the Broker.
- Check the Messages for the daily update.
TOUR:
- Tour is every Wednesday 9:30-2:00. Tours alternate between northside and southside. The current dividing line between the North and South Tour is I-90. Exceptions:
- Holiday Heights and Mayfair Addition are on North Tour
- Burns, Bangor and Washington townships are "optional," meaning that the decision of which tour week to use is left up to the listing company. This also includes anything east of these townships.
- Hamilton and Barre are also "optional." Listing companies can make the decision as to which tour is best to market the property.
- The entire French Island will now be South tour.
- Tours must be emailed or called in to the Association Office by 3 p.m. on Tuesday prior to Tour Day.
- A message will be put on the computer indicating the number of properties on tour and state they are in for the day.
- All properties to be on tour must be submitted to MLS by 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday if they aren't presently in the system. If this deadline isn't met property cannot be put on tour.
OPEN HOUSE DIRECTORY:
- All ads to be submitted for the Sunday open house directory must be received by the Association Office by Wednesday at 3 pm. All ads must be submitted to us and not the Tribune as we compile and sort them. Only the allotted space is allowed. Additional forms are available at the Association Office or you can print one here.
